This is a book written by the current CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella. He is only the third CEO of Microsoft in its history, after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. He was born in India (on my birthday) and moved to the USA for his masters degree. This book contains some discussion of the sport of cricket, due to the authors love of the sport.
This book is largely about the changes made at Microsoft after the new CEO was named. Changing the culture at an already established company is notoriously difficult but this was identified as the immediate goal of the new CEO. Apparently, the culture at Microsoft was not very cooperative and was somewhat negative. A significant portion of the book was about what he did to achieve this goal.
I finished this book around Christmas time and I was only able to write this today. I strongly considered not posting this review but I felt that the lack of memorable parts of the book was very telling. I found it to be a bit boring at times and I considered not completing it several times. I placed this on level 5.
